Isoelectric Focusing Stain Kit - Violet 17

This easy-to-use and safe protein stain for use with IEF gels contains everything for fixation, staining and de-staining of isoelectric focusing gels.

The colloidal stain SERVA Violet 17 gives you high sensitivity (1-2ng) with extremely low background when staining IEF gels. The kit includes SERVA Violet 17stain tablets eliminating the need for weighing powder, plus no organic solvents are needed to apply SERVA Violet 17 staining.

The Kit contains 40 SERVA Violet 17 tablets (dye content 25 mg each) and 500 ml stain solubilizer solution, ready-to-use solutions for fixation (2 x 500 ml) and destaining (500 ml) and a detailed protocol for the detection procedure; enough for 5 to 10 applications (large/small gels).
