FocusGel 3-7 is a specially formulated horizontal IEF gel for isoelectic focusing of any protein with a pI between pH 3-7. The gel contains a carrier ampholyte cocktail creating an optimal pH gradient. No electrode solutions or electrode strips are required using FocusGels, and the electrodes are placed directly on the gel surface.The FocusGels 24S contain 24 pre-polymerized sample wells close to either anodal or cathodal side for easy application of up to 25 μl of protein solution. The other FocusGel types do not contain sample wells. Samples are applied using applicator strips.
