50x concentrated aqueous solution.
DNase/RNase not detected. TAE buffer is used for the electrophoresis of nucleic acids. TAE has a lower buffer capacity than TBE, however linear ds DNA tends to run faster in TAE than in TBE. 

Use with agarose and acrylamide gels for electrophoresis of large DNA or RNA fragments greater than 1500bp and super coiled DNA.
