The GD-5040 vacuum gel dryer is designed for drying 1 large electrophoresis gel or multiple small format gels. Detachable Mylar sheet and porous polyethylene sheet - allow the gel dryer to be used for thin polyacrylamide gels and thicker agarose gels. Even heat distribution assures the gel is properly dried for placing in notebooks for other archives. Made of a lightweight, robust cast-aluminum base, overlaid with a porous stainless steel sheet.

- 800Watt heating Element
