Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase 600U/mg


Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase is derived from Leuconostoc mesenteroides. It requirs NAD+ cofactor.



This a suspension of Glucose-6-phosphate NAD(P)+1-oxidoreductase in a 70% saturated ammonium sulfate. It is an enzyme useful for the deterination of D-glucose, D-fructose and D-sorbitol.

  • Activity: min. 600U/mg protein
  • 10mg corresponds to approximately 1 ml


Extraneous activities: creatine phosphokinase (CPK), 6-phophogluconate dehydrogenase (6-PGDH), phosphoglucose isomerase (PGI), phospho glucomutase (PGM) each <0.01 %, hexokinase (HK) <0.05 %.
