Cyanase Nuclease, Serva
DISCONTINUED for alternative see Salt Active Nuclease
Cyanase nuclease is a cloned highly active non-Serratia based non-specific endonuclease that quickly degrades single and double stranded DNA and RNA; in as little as 1 minute.
This endonuclease enzyme is active over: a broad pH range from 6 to 10, a wide temperature range up to 50 °C and NaCl concentration up to 100 mM. Cyanase is fully active in DTT up to 100 mM, and most common non-ionic detergents up to 1 % including Triton X-100, Tween 20. It is active in Urea up to 3 M and is unaffected by chemical lysate treatments such as lysozyme or detergent.
Because of its unique properties, Cyanase is effective for cell lysate clearance, protein and viral purification and nucleic acid removal from samples.
Key Benefits of Cyanase Nuclease:
- Fastest Nuclease on the market
- Broad pH range
- Active in higher slat concentrations
- Unaffected by lysozyme or detergent
- Easily inactivated and removed
- Unsurpassed stability, can be stored up to 1 year at room temperature with minimal loss of activity
