Malate Dehydrogenase Enzyme, MDH

Our Malate dehydrogenase enzyme is derived from Porcine heart mitochondria. The activity is from 1000 to 1800U/mg. Each vial contains a minimum of 25,000U.

The enzyme is 70% suspension in Phosphate buffer pH 7.0.

May contain:

  • Fumarase enzyme <0.0001%
  • Glutamate pyruvate transaminase <0.01%
  • Glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase <0.01%

Malate dehydrogenase (MDH) reversibly catalyzes the conversion of L-malate to oxaloacetate involved in the Krebs cycle.
