Vacuum Gel Dryer for Electrophoresis Gels; GelVac

GelVac vacuum gel dryer dries large and small gels


The GelVac vacuum gel dryer is designed for drying sequencing gels or multiple small format 10 x 10cm gels, such as PAGE gels, IEF gels and Native gels. The heat is evenly distributed to ensure the gel(s) is properly dried for placing in notebooks or other archives. Made of a lightweight, robust cast-aluminum base, overlaid with a porous stainless steel sheet.

Features include:

  • Throughput: One 45 x 34cm gel, Fifteen 10 x 10cm mini gels
  • 800Watt heating Element
  • Maximum Temperature: 90C
  • Increments: +/-2C
  • Time Controls: 1minute to 5 hours
